A very fun cupcake to make!
the toppings of course are chocolate, maraschino cherries, sprinkles and we can't forget the banana buttercream frosting
Add a layer of frosting to each cupcake then put them in the freezer for 20 mins to let the buttercream get frozen so that when you dip the cupcakes in the chocolate the frosting won't melt. Melt your chips in the microwave every 15 seconds stirring after each rotation until smooth. Let sit for a few mins
take your cupcakes out of the freezer and DUNK them in the melted chocolate
then DUNK them into the sprinkles
then top with more buttercream and garnish with a cherry--->wallah you just made Banana Split Cupcakes!
*use your basic yellow cake recipe and add 1 banana puree to it*
*use your favorite buttercream frosting*
