Cajun Chicken Pasta

Made my husband's all time favorite dish for dinner tonight...Cajun Chicken Pasta!  Mine is a spin off from the yummy dish we had at the Cheesecake Factory in Honolulu while we were stationed there. You can find the actual ingredients here---> Chessecake Factory   My husband likes it the way I make it and I don't use half the ingredients, but it still tastes amazing. I would like to know if you try the original version and how it turns out.

Ingredients
pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1stick butter
2 green bell pepper, chopped
2 red bell pepper, chopped
4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 green onion, minced
2 boxes heavy cream

Step 1: Place chicken in pan and cook thoroughly then cut up into bit size pieces
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add heavy cream add chicken then let simmer and reduce heat cook for about 10-15 minutes
Step 4: add Cajun seasoning and let simmer on low/meat heat another 10-15 minutes
Step 5: cut peppers into little squares also cut your mushrooms and onions if you are using those

In the meantime bring the water to a boil in a large pot. If you like, add salt to the water. Cook the pasta in the boiling water until done. This will take 10 to 12 minutes.

cook sauce approximately 45 mins just remember to add peppers/mushrooms.onions the last 5 mins of cook time. Serve over pasta and with corn bread!
Enjoy :) Happy cooking!
